Keep the design generation separate from the pipe-material configuration.
The AQUAFITTING Quick Flange Adaptor provides a compact pipe-to-flange connection for the specified PE or PVC configuration. The family contains two design generations: Standard, the earlier design, and Lightweight, the later reduced-weight design. The generation and the pipe-material configuration are two separate choices.

The source catalogue expressly distinguishes these combinations. “Lightweight” does not mean “PVC only”, and “Standard” does not mean “PE only”. Identify both choices when selecting the product or its documents.
What the components do
The source page shows a flange body and lists seal and grip options. It explicitly labels the PE configuration with a brass grip and the PVC configuration without one. That distinction identifies the documented assemblies; the page does not supply a complete installation sequence or performance rating for a selected configuration.
The material configuration is therefore an essential part of the assembly specification. The flange-face sealing arrangement and installation sequence belong to the selected generation and configuration.
Features and practical value
A compact connection format. The catalogue shows a short body arranged around the pipe opening and flange interface. Its dimensions can be reviewed directly against the available installation space and mating component.
A later design option. The catalogue marks the second configuration as New Series; the established product mapping calls it Lightweight. This identifies the generation, without claiming a percentage weight reduction, higher pressure capability or faster installation time.
Material-specific assembly identification. Stating whether the product is for PE or PVC, and whether the brass gripping element is included, helps keep quotation, assembly and spare-component identification consistent.
Scope and material information
Both generations are catalogued under DN50–DN400. The listed pipe ODs run from 63 to 400 mm, with particular flange-size/pipe-OD combinations rather than every possible pairing. Their separate dimensional tables must remain separate even where nominal sizes are shared.
The source material lists specify a ductile iron GGG-50 body, epoxy coating and EPDM/NBR/SBR seal options; brass grip applies to the PE configuration as shown above. Match the seal compound to the actual supplied version and service.
Select the generation, pipe material, pipe OD and mating flange together. Do not substitute a Lock-Ring or Compression-Grip product merely because the DN is the same. Use the corresponding instructions for pipe support, tightening and flange-face sealing; the generation label alone does not define those requirements.
