ULTRA Wide-Range Coupling

Pipe-to-pipe connection with distinct sealing and gripping components.
The AQUAFITTING ULTRA Wide-Range Coupling joins two plain-ended pipes. Its construction combines sealing elements, gripper supports and gripping components within a pipe-to-pipe assembly. The released size table covers nine entries from DN50 to DN300, with a defined pipe outside-diameter interval for each entry and PN10/16 identification.
Sealing and gripping have different jobs
The source drawing separately identifies the sealing element, gripper and gripper support. These are different named components; their presence in the drawing does not establish a quantified restraint or sealing performance for an unreviewed pipe configuration.
The presence of a gripper is not, by itself, a published pull-out rating or an approved restraint classification. Those performance statements depend on the selected pipe, configuration and supporting technical record.
Features and practical value
A range for each connection end. The coupling is selected against measured outside diameter, not nominal diameter alone. Both pipe ends must satisfy the relevant material, dimensional and configuration requirements.
An identifiable mechanical assembly. Separately named sealing, support and gripping components help keep replacement-part or configuration enquiries specific to the correct assembly.
Size-specific technical information. The released document provides H, L and fastener entries alongside DN, DE and PN. The overall family range does not replace those individual rows.

The examples reproduce four of the nine released rows. For DN100, the DE interval is 100–135 mm, a width of 35 mm. This does not establish that every pipe material or every pairing within that interval is suitable.
Application and document use
Use the coupling where the required connection is plain pipe to plain pipe. Select the ULTRA flange adaptor instead where one side is flanged equipment; it is a different assembly with a different dimension table.
