Choose a gate valve by connection form, nominal size and installation dimensions. F4 and F5 flanged valves have different face-to-face patterns. The socket-end design connects to compatible PVC pipes but has a ductile iron valve body. Keep flange drilling, pipe OD and the selected operating configuration distinct.
